Just what had happened with her life?

Feeling exasperated and tired, Emma Gellar- Green sat down cradling the crying baby in her arms,

"Please just fall asleep she thought."

Sway, sway "I wonder what time she'll settle tonight, what time I'm going to eat something, god what even in the cupboards?" sway, sway "Liam will be home soon, the room is a complete state, and the first thing he'll say as he rolls his eyes, and asses the room will be "have you sat on your behind all day?"."

And that was if he was in a good mood, she thought with worry. If he came home, after a quick detour with his work friends, and had indulged on his hobbies then it could be much worse, as Emma had discovered before.

She didn't have long to clean the toys up, quickly do the dishes, and try and get something on the table that was edible, she really didn't want to cause Liam any upset. He hadn't always been like this though,

Liam, was her hero, he rescued her over a year ago – a knight in shining armour Barbara has said. If it wasn't for him, her silly whim would have been completely unattainable. She would have been stuck, heavily pregnant, in a small countryside village in England.

She missed America, she missed her parents and her younger siblings, and she missed her aunts, uncles and cousins. Their lazy summers, having pool parties, easy chatter and comfortable silences.

She couldn't go back now, not after what she had done, she had made a rod for her own back. The money she had stolen, they had no clue about Arabella, and she had run away.

As she flew around the small two bedroom flat, a tornado of tidiness ensuring, her mind drifted back to her old life, her family and the legacy she had created…
