When she walked into the room, Minako knew Rei meant business. The past two weeks had been nothing but a pheromonal game of cat and mouse and Minako was no longer sure whether she could make a clean getaway this time.
Oh, she had it bad.
She had it really bad.
But she also knew that Rei was mustering every ounce of self-control to hold herself from hurdling into the proverbial fire. If her violet voracious eyes weren't enough, then her curvaceous mouth, its corners ever so slightly curling from flattened out feelings, was enough for Minako to catch the three crucial words that would ultimately spearhead the trajectory of their relationship.
Her stomach resounding with first-love ballistics, Minako crossed her legs and beckoned Rei to take a seat beside her on the bed. There was nothing romantic about the gesture. If anything it was a challenge, a dare. And both women knew the stakes at hand.
As Rei pushed Minako to the pillows, the blonde could only think about the fullness of the miko's lips, the gleaming color of her eyes, the night-like curtain of her hair.
Sometimes losing wasn't all that bad.
