In a room riddled with sunlight, on the west coast of Canada, three girls lay sprawled out their various cushions and chairs. One of the girls moaned and rolled off her cushion, putting down and pushing away an Egyptian tour guidebook. "Maybe we should just go to Disneyland instead" she complained, ruffling her short red hair, "There are too many books to read about Egypt. If we go to Disneyland we could go on the Indiana Jones ride..." she looked wistfully at the life-sized poster of Indy hanging on the wall. "What do you mean?" said the girl lying sideways on a chair, "Its Egypt! You can never read to much about Egypt!" She grinned excitedly and pushed her wavy brown hair out of her face. "We can go see the pyramids and tombs, and buy stuff in the markets..." "Would you two PLEASE shut up?" muttered the third girl, "I'm trying to sleep." "SLEEP?" the second girl asked incredulously, "but we need to read books..." The third girl sat up and stared at her with piercing eyes. "Nora," she said "We have read just about every book in the library and they all say the same thing. Just because you are obsessed with Egypt doesn't mean..." "Me obsessed?" interrupted Nora, "oh, so I suppose if we were going off somewhere to learn about pagans you wouldn't be excited!" The first girl giggled, "Just give it up Decca, we'll be stuck with her craziness till we go." "Absolutely!" shouted Nora, smiling. She jumped up and started dancing around. "Egypt here we come! It'll be just like in the Indiana Jones movies! Excitement, Danger, Glory, and Renown..." "Or just excitement." Smiled Decca. She stood up and grabbed her coat. "I better go pack, I haven't even started. See you two later!" On her way out, she muttered to the red head "Keep an eye on her London, or else she might turn you into an Egypt lover too." "I heard that!" said Nora, sticking out her tongue. Decca grinned evilly, waved, and left. London got up and stretched. "I better head home too, see you later Nora!" "Bye" muttered Nora, lost once again in her book. London rolled her eyes and left.

The next morning dawned bright and clear, putting all three girls in a cheery mood. By now both London and Decca were just as excited as Nora as they waited at the airplane teminal.
