"Come on, Shika! You can finally see the stars!" He grinned silently, allowing the bubbling blonde to pull him out onto the balcony. She was so hyper, even at one in the morning, he often wondered what the heck she was on.
He sighed, gazing up to the heavens, listening as she excitedly pointed out the different constellations, most of which he already knew, but he didn't say a word.
It would be too troublesome to have her mad at him for the rest of the weekend.
He looked over, observing her. She was dressed warmly, in a dark red coat too large for her, bright green gloves she probably got from the senior, Itachi, that she talks with, and a large, fluffy orange scarf hanging all the way down to her hips. Strangely, she also went barefoot and in gym shorts.
Her bright blonde hair was chopped to her chin, bangs hanging cutely in her face. Icy blue eyes were framed by long lashes and a smudge of black eyeliner, and were staring up intently at the stars.
"Shika, look!" He did as he was told, only to see a shooting star cross the sky. He was slightly surprised - it was so dim, how could he have seen it?
She giggled suddenly, before hugging him tightly. He raised an eyebrow in response.
"Thanks for coming out here with me tonight, Shika," She snuggled deeper into his coat and neck. He blushed, glad for the darkness. "The guy on the floor above me keeps trying stalk me or something. It's creepy."
She shivered, drawing even closer. He sighed, wrapping an arm around the girl so she wouldn't accidentally fall off the balcony.
"You'll be fine, as long as you use your so called 'Ninja Moves' on him - are you even listening to me?" He looked down, slightly annoyed, only to find the girl was fast asleep. Sighing, he scooped her up and carried her inside.
"I guess some things never change, hmm Naruto?" He chuckled to himself, looking up at the ceiling after setting the girl in her bed.
"Looks like I'm staying here tonight, after all... Troublesome."
A sweet, fluffy one-shot/drabble, fueled by sappy music and a love of fluff out the butt. Hope you enjoyed it.
