Just a few thoughts about the end of GC. A little darker than I was thinking to make it.
Shu could feel her close to him when he listened to her songs. The wind blowing on a sunny day at the park would call his name with her voice. Every time he could feel the rain on his face, he would remember of her touch, her delicate hands and her soft hair. The sweet smell of the spring flowers would remember Shu of her perfume.
It was funny how every little peaceful thing on his daily life would make him remember of her. People would call him a fool, or even consider him crazy if he told them about it. But he couldn't help it. It was the way he felt and he was satisfied with that.
Or maybe he just missed her. He missed her so badly that everything in the world would lead him to think about her. He was satisfied with that explanation as well. Seeing her on every aspect of his life, not being able to forget her not even for a second, those things showed how much he loved her, how much he still loves her.
When he closes his eyes, she is what he sees. When he dreams, she is there, right on his side, smiling at him, talking to him, singing for him. In the morning, his first words after waking up would be 'Good Morning, Inori', so that he could start another day without her, but at the same time, so close to her – at least, that's what he believed in. Inori was always with him.
She never left his side, and never would. They were meant to be together forever.
