Simon had never thought it was possible. Yet here he was, with his face centimeters away form the most beautiful -and popular- girl in the school.

He looked into her mesmerising grey eyes, which were starring back at him. The pupils had dilated until they were only tiny specks in the middle of her iris, and she looked incredibly vulnerable. Wait, vulnerable? Isabelle Lightwood was never vulnerable.

Simon Lewis. Stop distracting yourself. You have got plenty of stuff going on right in front of your face. Isabelle-
Wow, even her name was beautiful!
SIMON LEWIS! FOCUS, on the kiss...
This was really happening...
There lips brushed up against each other. Simon drew in a breath. He began to lean forward and deepen the kiss-
"Oi! Ugly!"
What the fu-?
It was Eric. Of all the times that his best friend chose to inject one of his stupid jokes, it had to be now...
He whipped his head around and glared at Eric, who, seeing what he had just interrupted began to back away.
Simon turned back to face Isabelle, but her whole face had changed, shutting out the vulnerability like a blind over a window. All that was left was a stony mask.
"I always knew your friend was a jerk, but I had hoped you were better that that!"
With that, Isabelle turned on her six-inch heels and stormed off.

AN: Yeah, so thus idea just popped up in my head . Nothing much, and probably really bad, but, you know, I had to give it a go.
Anyways. Reviews really make my day, I will virtually hug you if you do...
Plz check out my other story, borrowed wings, and now I really need to study for a big science test tomorrow... Argh!
Bye!
