Randy Cunningham laid down the controller of the game system.

"Dude, why'd you stop? We're getting to the boss level." Howard pouted.

Randy looked at Howard. "I'm too tired. Can we go to bed, please?" Randy asked.

"You're an asshole." Howard said, as he turned off the game system. Randy smirked.

"It's like 4:00 in the morning." Randy said.

"Wrong. It's only 1:00." Howard said.

"oh.. sorry." Randy smiled lightly and rubbed his head as if he was confused.

"Better be." Howard laughed softly. "Let's get ready for bed, loser."

Both of the boys stood up. Randy looked through his bag. He grabbed a huge T-shirt. Randy slowly undressed his pants.

Howard looked at Randy and quickly looked away.

"What was that look for?" Randy asked as he took off his shirt.

"You're too skinny..." Howard turned around looking at Randy.

"Well, thanks tubby man." Randy rolled his eyes and stuck out his tongue. He put on his big t-shirt and flopped onto Howard's bed.

"Ruuuuuude." Howard laughed. Howard changed into a big t-shirt, too.

Randy laid on his side as his eyes drifted to sleep.

Howard walked out of his room to get a glass of water. He rubbed his eyes and grabbed his glass after, filling it up. After it filled, he shortly walked back into the dark room. The only light was the television, which he shortly turned off. "Randy already asleep. No surprise." Howard rolled his eyes.

Howard laid under the blanket, as he dozed off. He wasn't able to say that he actually did fall asleep- but time went by really fast. It was around 3:00 in the morning when he woke up from his doze from Randy.

Randy was mumbling, tossing and turning. All what Howard could understand was 'no, stop, leave him alone' and much much more no's.

Howard couldn't stand hearing Randy in his bad dream and shook him slowly. "Randy, buddy wake up." Howard whispered.

Randy sat up and gasped. He looked around and then looked at his hands, he suddenly looked at Howard. "It was just a dream." Randy's anxiety slowly left him. "Did I wake you up? I'm sorry..." Randy looked away, still breathing a little fast than usual.

"Don't apologize, you had a bad dream. It's okay. You didn't even wake me up." Howard smiled lightly.

Randy looked at Howard, his body turned to Howard. "I can't do this, dude. I can't do this anymore." Randy's body started shivering, tears started streaming down his face.

"Are you crying? What happened in your dream? Don't cry, please."

"It, it was a monster.. and I put on my gear.. and.. and.." Randy started hyperventilating. He slowly caught his breath and closed his eyes. "You died."

"..I died?" Howard was surprised that his friend would actually be crying because of a dream they had about him.

"It was terrible." Randy look down.

Howard laid his hand on Randy's shoulder. "It was a dream. I'm still here, and still your best friend." Howard smiled.

Randy looked up and got closer to Howard and hugged him. "I don't know what I'd do without you." Randy said.

Howard laid his head on Randy's shoulder closed his eyes and breathed deeply. "I'll be here forever. Okay buddy?" Howard dozed off, once again.

"H-howard?" Randy Smiled lightly. "Idiot." Randy laid down as he held Howard.

"Night." Howard smiled as he hugged on to randy.
