It was bright and early when I woke up. I blinked the sun out of my eyes as I glanced at the sleeping mess of blonde hair in bed next to me. I couldn't help but smile as he mumbled something in his sleep and rolled over onto his back. I lightly pecked his forehead and got up to use the bathroom. As I washed my face I kept thinking about last night and how nice it was. We had had dinner at a very fancy restaurant and came home to our three loving children. It was our anniversary and the children had to stay home with the babysitter. After all, they were only four and two years old. When we got home we put the children to bed and just sat and talked for a while. We talked about how we needed to get ready to put our four year olds into Kindergarten, getting the proper materials for the beginning of school, how we would handle our jobs. All of a sudden we just stopped talking and he looked at me, a type of look that sent my heart flying out of my chest and made my stomach flutter with butterflies. He sat next to me and kissed me, telling me how much he loved me. After that, he didn't let me sleep till midnight. I guess anyone could imagine what had happened during that amount of time. I sighed as I looked down at my stomach, softly rubbing it. I walked back into the room to see a waking Alois. "Ciel?" Alois mumbled. "Yeah, Alois?" I asked as I sat on the edge of the bed. Alois rubbed the sleep out of his eyes and asked, "What time is it? Where are the kids?" "They're still sleeping. It's around nine o'clock, you can still go back to bed." I replied. Alois shook his head and pulled me into his lap and softly sighed, "It's okay. I'd better get ready for work." I nodded as he nuzzled my neck. We both got up, getting ready to start another normal day. Well, for us.
