Summary: This is sonnet I wrote a couple of months ago about the scene in Macalania Woods where Tidus and Yuna Kiss. Written from Yuna's POV
Disclaimer: I don't own a single tiny little bit of Square-Enix. Its quite sad really...
My Ramblings: The idea for this poem came when my English teacher told us we had to write a love sonnet complete with iambic pentameter and Shakespearean rhyme scheme. Thus this poem was created. Enjoy
The Summoner's Tears
I look across the water and I see
The moon reflected in its sacred pool.
The Pyreflies dance near us round the tree
That grows within the water calm and cool.
You see the tears run freely down my face,
And yet you do not ask the reason why.
Instead you draw me close, a warm embrace;
And at your touch my soul begins to fly.
You know my resolve cannot be shaken;
I must see this pilgrimage to its end.
And in the end my life will be taken
for Spira's never-ending wounds to mend.
You summon something deep within my soul:
A love that will not die despite our goal.
