Harry was waiting with the bags at the foot of the stairs. As usual Ginny and the kids were taking there time again. ''Hurry up! We're going to miss the train!'' shouted Harry. James jumped down half the stairs, ''Ive told you not to do that!''Stated Harry '' and whats your brother doing?'' ''He's checking if he's packed everything.''

Ginny walked out of the great hall. Her family and Hermione were all in there. She walked up the marble staircase and sat at the top step. She was waiting for Harry who had gone and rest after the battle after all he ad deserved it, he had made it, killed Voldemort. Harry stopped at the top of the stairs to the Entrance Hall because there was someone there. The person had his back to him. The person had long, flaming red hair, which he recognized as Ginny. He went down the steps as Ginny turned around to look at him. He walked up to her.

''How are you? Are you hurt?'' he asked.

'' I'm good, and no I'm not hurt'' replied Ginny.

''Why did you leave me and gave yourself up to Voldemort? How could you leave me without me even knowing!'' She yelled

''What if the killing curse had worked on you, then what I would never see you again! When I saw your body in Hagrid's arms I screamed, it was so scary, I thought my life had ended, Fred had gone and then you!''she exclaimed.

''I understand what you mean but it is was for the best, I couldn't take it any more, I had seen Fred, Lupin and Tonks bodies, and then I imagined your body lying in the Great Hall with Ron and Hermione next to you and I just couldn't stay and let Voldemort kill anyone else.'' cried Harry. '' I'm sorry, I saw you on the way to the forest, you were with a girl who was asking for her mum and I wish you would notice me and would hold me back!''

Hearing this Ginny hugged Harry, her tears running down her soft, cheeks. Harry hugged her back, he didn't want to let go, it was the best he had felt in years. When they broke away, after what felt like hours.

''Were is everyone else?'' Harry asked.

''The hospital wing is partially destroyed so they're in the Great Hall, Madam Pomfrey is checking them for injuries.'' replied Ginny.

Together they walked down to the stairs and into the Great Hall. All the survivors where there, standing with there family and friends, comforting each other. Half of the Great Hall was being occupied by the dead bodies of the Hogwarts Defenders, they were all wrapped in a white, silky cloth similar to Dumbledore's at his funeral. Harry and Ginny walked silently together to stand next to all the Weasleys and Hermione. Ron was standing with his arm around Hermione, who was sitting on a chair. Mr and Mr's Weasley where being checked up my Madam Pomfrey while the rest of the Weasley's sat around in the benches nearby. They looked up as Harry and Ginny walked to them
