The Wrath of the Sea Spawn
Chapter 1
Percy POV:
So here I was with my girlfriend Annabeth, running away from a pack of dracaenae and empousai after we got caught up in a pack on our tour through the Hoover Dam. I should explain.
When Annabeth had been captured three years ago by the titan Atlas and her old friend Luke, she had been forced to take the sky from him. Artemis was also captured and forced under the painful burden. The maiden goddesses hunters were forced to come to camp half-blood until further notice. Either way, the hunters got a prophecy, claiming that 5 shall go to the land without water and die and blah blah. Old story. So Zoe, Bianca, Thalia and Grover went on the quest to search for their mistress. Me, being the person I am, decided to follow them, knowing I had to get Annabeth back. After they had found me, we travelled together through the US to find them, and crossing through hoover dam. I remembered Annabeth loved the architecture there so I decided to take her there and here we are now. I felt slightly bad knowing that this was where I met Rachel Dare, a girl who had a crush on me. As we were running a few walked us and would be decapacitated by either Annabeth's knife or Riptide. Things were looking okay for us until a huge explosion filled the area, before clearing and the crowd gasping.
"There's a hole in the dam" I stated.
"Well duh Seaweed Brain, theres nothing we can do to stop it" Annabeth replied.
I couldn't let this happen. Millions of American citizens drowned. "Not if i can help it." I spoke with a deep gruff.
As i stepped nearer the dam, I heard Annabeth telling me to be careful, so as i strode over, I turned, smiled at her, then raised my arms high above my head to stop the water flow, the using a cool trick i learnt, I hardened the water to mortally unbreakable and turned to look at Annabeth before seeing my immortal enemy standing over her weakened body, holding a celestial bronze dagger. He must've disarmed her I thought. i gave a snarl growl towards the god of War and released all the remaining water at him, turning it to ice in mid-air before realizing. Annabeth. My eyes widened as I ran toward her as i went to build a water shield before remembering i turned it all into ice. The millions of ice shards imbedded in both me and Ares, causing him to erupt in pain and teleport to Olympus whilst i looked down at my body. I heard one soft word.
"Percy.." Before I collapsed, seeing black.
AN: Okay, i know its bad but its my first fanfic, so review if can do, if not, meh dont worry about it :P the next chapter will be much better, I promise.
