Author's Note: This a small oneshot set in the Frighteningly Trapped AU fic. It does elude that Mirage was a Con before joining up with the Autobots or it could be seen as the other way around too really.

There were cycles where he wished that he could regret nothing and yet he could not regret his deeds.
Regret the loss of a comrade.
Regret the loss of close friends.
He could not fully regret being a part of one side of the war before completely turning around to betray those comrades and join up with the other faction.
Regret the loss of powerful allies.
Though what he regretted most even he had no true hand in the deed was the capture of the Protectobot called First Aid. He regretted that he had not been with the young gestalt team to protect them.
There were many things that he did regret and that was one of many that he fully regretted.
