Summary: Clare, Eli and Adam are friends, Eli likes Clare, Clare likes Eli and Adam likes Clare. This is Adam's reaction to realising he has a crush on her.
Oh no! Oh no! Oh crap! Why does she have to be so damn cute? I can't feel like this she's my friend, she depends on my friendship. I depend on her friendship. Oh no! Eli's going to kill me if he ever found out that I like Clare. His Clare! He's going to crush me. Maybe that would be a good thing. Clare would hate him and like me! Wait. What am I saying? I need help. I remember what Eli did to Fitz when he found out Fitz asked her out. Fitz ended up getting arrested for being in possession of a fake id and for beating up Eli in a public place. Clare still has no idea why Eli did that. He won't tell her. Maybe I should. No, no I can't do that. Eli's my friend, Clare's my friend. The only two friends I have considering everyone thinks I'm a freak. But Clare and Eli, especially Clare, accepted me. Maybe Clare likes me more than a friend! Wait, no she doesn't, she likes Eli more than a friend. Not me. Maybe I could be like Eli and Clare will like me. God that's a stupid idea, here comes Clare and Eli. My heart just skipped a beat. "Hey Adam." She said, her voice is so perfect.
"Hey guys." I said trying to keep my nerves under control.
"Let's go to lunch." Eli said. Then we all left.
