So in honor of season 5 starting today (At least here in the US) I wanted to write a little something. I loved the episode "Pups save a frozen flounder" And I love Skye x Everest so this was born. I will be watching the first episodes of the new season tonight. Can't wait~! So read, review and enjoy!

Skye smiled as Ryder placed the Sea Patrol badge on the side Everest's lifeguard uniform. "Welcome to the Sea Patrol!" Ryder said, as he smiled at the husky.

Everest's tail wagged excitedly and she grinned at Ryder and told him thank you.

For the next hour the PAW patrol played around Adventure Beach and talked and laughed. Everest was currently giggling at one of Marshall's funny jokes when Skye came up to her. "Hey, Everest?" Skye asked. Everest turned her attention to the Cockapoo pup and smiled. "Hey, Skye! What's up?" Everest replied.

"Want to go for a walk down the beach?" Skye questioned.

"Sure sounds like fun!" Everest barked happily. Everest and Skye waved to their friends, before walking off side by side. "Everest, I am so proud of you," Skye spoke up.

"For what?" Everest asked, as he raised an eyebrow at Skye. "For joining the Sea Patrol! You were so brave and cleaver out there today. We couldn't of done that rescue without you!" Skye said.

"Awww... Thanks, Skye," Everest replied, as he blushed lightly. Skye blushed as well and both girl pups then remained quiet, as they continued to walk down the beach. "I sure hope you get to join us on more Sea Patrol missions soon," Skye finally said.

"Me too," Everest nodded. "Hey... Skye?"

"Yeah?" Skye asked, as she looked directly into Everest's eyes. "I-I... I like you..." Everest managed to choke out.

At that sentence Skye froze up and stopped walking. "Y-You do?" Skye nervously asked.

"Yes..." Everest responded, feeling nervous herself. "Finally! I was wondering when you'd admit you returned my feelings!" Skye cheered.

"W-Wait... You like me back!? And you knew all this time I liked you?!" Everest asked in pure shock. "Yeah," Skye smirked.

"Well then... Will you be my girlfriend?" Everest asked.

"You know it!" Skye said, as she did a back flip and barked happily. "So... First date tomorrow night? We could go for a dinner at ," Everest added in.

"Sounds wonerful, Everest. Sounds Wonderful," Skye said with a smile. Then the two female pups leaned in and kissed each other. When they broke apart they sat down next to each other and Skye sighed in content as she leaned her head on Everest's shoulder. "Best day ever," Both girl pups thought.
