Princess Luna watched as her sister brought the sun down. It was Christmas Eve and Equestria was clothed in white with more layers floating down carefully. Luna was astounded at the beauty of it all.
She loved winter; it was her favorite season out of all the four. And so, while she brought the Moon up, she started to sing a Christmas Carol loud but soft with a spooky edge to it for all of Equestria to hear. "Hark how the bells, sweet silver bells, all seem to say 'throw cares away. Christmas is here bringing good cheer to young and old; meek and the bold.'
"Oh how they pound, raising their sound! O'er the dale, telling their tale. Gaily they ring while ponies sing songs of good cheer – Christmas is here. 'Merry, merry, merry, merry Christmas. Merry, merry, merry, merry Christmas.'
"On, on they send, on without end - their joyful tone, to every home." The Princess stopped for a few seconds to let the song sink in for the ponies. Then, she went onward, "Hark how they bells, sweet silver bells, all seem to say 'throw cares away. Christmas is here bringing good cheer to young and old; meek and the bold.'
"Oh how the pound, raising their sound! O'er the dale, telling their tale. Gaily they ring while ponies sing songs of good cheer – Christmas is here. 'Merry, merry, merry, merry Christmas. Merry, merry, merry, merry Christmas.'
"On, on they send, on without end – their joyful tone, to every... home." She stopped again before singing very creepily. "Ding….Dong….Ding….Dong….Ding….Dong….Ding….Dong….
"Gaily they ring while ponies sing songs of good cheer – Christmas is here. 'Merry, merry, merry, merry Christmas. Merry, merry, merry, merry Christmas. Merry, merry, merry, Christmas. Merry Christmas. Merry Christmas. Merry Christmas. Merry Christmas. Merry Christmas. Merry Christmas. Merry, merry, merry, Christmas. Merry, merry, merry, Christmas.'" Luna ended the song with the same tone she used to sing the song with.
She turned to her older sister and asked, "Do you think they liked it?"
"Of course they did, Luna!" Princess Celestia replied.
Luna smiled and turned to watch Equestria for the rest of the night.
