I stand and all around me burns
I roar and all around me flees
I fly and all around me die
For I am nightfury
And I must stand alone
A lone shot in the night strikes me
I fall to my certain doom
The trees break under my crash

Ropes tangled around me
As I struggle to break free
The pain deafens me to the approach

A small boy now approaches me
With knife in hand he say
Beast your heart will be mine
For you are nightfury

I look at the boy with fear filled eyes
Is this the end of my life
The knife falls and I shall die?

My bonds fall away and I am set free
I roar my victory in deaths face and flee

The hand that reaches for me

I lift my tail and growl
He turns and whistles, walking away

And draw my perseption of him
I turn and twist drawing in the dirt

He stands and dares steps on my line
I growl and he does it again
He belives this is a game
But I am nightfury
So leave my art alone
He steps over turning dexteriously through the lines
He slowly moves over twards me
He turns as I breath on him
Me the nightfury
standing tall and alone
He turns and looks into my eyes
I see myself inside of him
And I assume he sees himself in me
Even though I am the nightfury
Why should I be alone
He reaches out in wonderment
But I growl the hand away
I do not wish to be touched
FOR I AM NIGHTFURY
AND I MUST BE ALONE
But once again he reaches out
Looking away in fear
Fear that I feel against him
For I am nightfury
And my fear is mine alone
I lean forward twards the hand
But I hesitate for a second
But I go forward into the palm
For I am nightfury
And I must see alone
Our eyes meet and then I see
I am just like him
And him just like me
For I am nightfury
And no longer am I alone
