A/N: I saw this as a headcanon on Pinterest, I tweaked it a bit, but it's still pretty great, and I couldn't not write something for it.
Disclaimer: I do not own Supernatural or Percy Jackson
Percy woke up panting, cold sweat trickling down the side of his face. He had the dream again. It was so strange, out of all of Tartarus, and all of the sticky situations he had been in, the one nightmare his brain had on repeat, was a man, in Tartarus, screaming and yelling one name over and over. "Sammy!" And then he would wake up.
"You okay Percy?" Annabeth mumbled sleepily from.
"Yeah, I'm fine." Percy sat up, and looked around the area they had chosen for their picnic.
He began to search through their picnic basket, hungry after the nightmare. Annabeth sat up as well.
"Another nightmare?" She asked.
"Yeah, it's fine though."
She nodded. Having nightmares was a pretty common event for demigods. So Annabeth didn't question it any further. Instead she pulled out two blue cupcakes for them to enjoy.
Percy grinned. "You know me so well."
Then he took a bite out of it. His mind momentarily drifting from the man in Tartarus.
It was then that he saw two men, sitting on the hood of a sleek, shiny, beautiful car, drinking beers and looking into the distance, as if that moment, was the most perfect, and if they left, they would once again carry the weight of the world on their shoulders. Percy recognized the look. Mostly because he sported it as well.
One of the men was tall, with moose like hair, and the other resembled the man he saw in Tartarus. He thought it was a coincidence, that the slightly shorter man looked like the one in Tartarus, until he heard something he said to the other, taller figure. It was one sentence, but in that sentence, he said a name. A normal name, nothing special, or fancy, just a name. Sam.
Percy knew that it was the man he saw in Tartarus, and a weight felt like it had been lifted from his shoulders. He no longer felt guilty for leaving him, and he was relieved that he escaped, with his friend, or brother, or whoever this Sam was. He was happy for them.
He looked at Annabeth again and smiled as he picked dandelion fuzz out of her hair. He knew that he would ever have the nightmare again. And he was right, he never did.
A/N: Alright, that was fun to write. Even if it was just a drabble. Thank you for reading, and PLEASE PLEASE REVIEW!
