"Let's go bust a crack house." Steve pleaded, leaning on his chair, giving Danny an innocent look with his bright hazel eyes.

"No." Danny said, not looking up from his paperwork.

"No crack house? All right. Then how about a... hey let's go after a huge mafia boss and take 'em down." Steve said, his eyes again going bright.

"No." Danny repeated, still not looking at his boyfriend.

"Fine. Then how about-"

"Are you bored or something?" Danny asked, exasperated.

"Yes. How did you know?" Steve asked, cocking his head.

"You're annoying me on paperwork day. Granted you always do that but this is different. More annoying." Danny explained.

"Oh." Steve said.

"Can't you doing something if you're bored? That doesn't involve me?" Danny asked.

Steve thought, and thought, then his face split in a devilish grin. He dragged his rolling chair over to the end of the hall and ran down, jumping onto the chair after getting enough speed.

He whooped loudly many times and kept racing down the hall, in perfect earshot of Danny.

"Steve, come back here!" Danny shouted. Steve rolled into Danny's office.

"What?" He asked innocently.

"I told you to do something that doesn't involve me babe." Danny chasticed.

"But it doesn't involve you. It just involves me." Steve whined, sounding a lot like Gracie. Danny snorted.

"Hun, if I can hear you, it involves me. Just let me finish my paperwork, so we can go home and do more fun things." Danny offered and Steve smiled. Steve went to his desk, and started to play on the computer.

After an hour, Danny's paperwork was done. A yawn was on Steve's lips, that was hidden well from Danny.

"Done?" Steve asked.

"Yes, you big lummox." Danny said, kissing the SEAL. Steve bounded towards the car, Danny close behind.

"Babe, where did you get all this energy? It's like you had ten cups of coffee." Danny asked.

"Well, I had to skip morning coffee because my alarm went off late and I was going to miss the meeting with the governor. So I had a Monster at lunch and I got a lotta energy now." Steve answered.

"Love, you know that stuff never lasts you long. You burn through it like fire through paper." Danny said, giving Steve a look.

"So that's aneurism face." Steve said, grinning.

"You are going to crash and crash hard." Danny laughed. Steve snorted and pulled into his driveway.

Danny put on a pot of coffee, he had a feeling he would need it later, and went up to their room. It seemed that when Steve had tried to impress Danny, when his head hit the pillow he was out like a light. Slight snores came from the ex-SEAL and Danny chuckled. He'd had a feeling he would need coffee
