He was Castiel, angel associated with the planet Saturn and controller of the Moon. Now the Moon Kingdom, Silver Millennium was falling from an attack from Earth. Above the satellite he watched the destruction with the guardian of Saturn: Sailor Saturn. She was the forbidden guardian, with the power to destroy everything. The Goddess of Destruction.
The Prince of Earth, Endymion fell in battle, a simple attack from a nameless warrior. Castiel doubted anyone would remember that warrior. The Moon Princess rushed to his side. Why did immortal beings fall in love with mortals? It would never end well. The Princess pulled out her Prince's sword and killed herself with it.
Suicide.
The blatant destruction of one of God's greatest gifts. Life. There was no chance she'd enter Heaven now.
Sailor Saturn stood up. She wielded the Silence Glaive, when she swung it down it signalled the destruction of a world. Slowly she swung it down, slashing across the palace of the Moon Kingdom. The Sailor Scouts that protected the Moon Princess rushed to save her but it was too late. The Princess was already dead and in trying to save a corpse they died.
The Queen used the power of the Silver Crystal to seal away the enemy, yet in her stress of losing her daughter the seal could not trap the force forever. A few centuries in the future someone would have to reseal the darkness.
Seeing the bodies of her daughter and her companions the Queen used the Silver Crystal so they could be reborn. Their star seeds flew off to God's centre of creation; The Galaxy Cauldron.
Their bodies were now incredibly small and it would take time for them to reform.
Castiel looked over at his silent companion Sailor Saturn, she was slowly fading. The power of death and destruction had a price, her life. But she would be reborn. With death there comes rebirth. Silver Millennium was gone now, but its princess and her guardians and would be reborn.
The Moon fell silent.
He was Castiel, angel of the Lord, controller of the Moon and Saturn, angel of tears and solitude, who presided over the death of rulers, and watched the universe indifferently.
He was Castiel and he had watched the Moon fell into darkness and its ruler die. He watched it indifferently and he he would continue to watch the universe with indifference.
