However it is simple, yet interesting, and gets down to the point while keeping you entertained at the same time. Cool, no? Broken Chains
Kaguro emerged from the fresh crater of the lightning bolt that struck him a
mummified monstrosity. He began to walk towards the river. His friend lie bleeding to
death on the ground caught a glimpse of him in his fading sight. "Kaguro…why?" "I'm
sorry," he turned, "not dead yet?" The man's eyes widened at Kaguro's ferocious grin
and soul piercing eyes. "Why did you stray to the darkness…when your normal life
had so much promise?" "For fun…why else?" The bleeding man gasped. His friend had
truly gone now. "I never imagined…Kaguro…that you of all people-" "Still breathing
are you? Sorry, but I don't like talking to dead men, it goes against my sense of
aesthetic." A dagger emerged from between Kaguro's fingers. He tossed it straight
into his old friend's forehead. The man's eyes rolled up as his wound began to bleed
and he ceased to live. "Oops…a little high, hahahahahaha!" He laughed at the sight of
his murdered friend. How he pitied the human existence. "Come along brother," one
of the ayakashi across the river called out, "let us go and cause mischief and-" "Don't
tell me what to do!" His head jerked around, revealing his eyes that screamed
bloodshed. His tone turned angry and his presence chilling. The ayakashi froze in fear.
"I go my own way…understand?"
They nodded. "Good." He walked off, swinging his swords playfully and humming an
eerie tune.
Author's Notes Cont.: Wow, it's been a while since I've done this! And it's still cool! Any-who, what did you think? Not bad for less than 300 words, huh? On to the point, I think I figured out how to double-space these little bastards, the only problem is that the process is a tremendous: PAIN. IN. MY. BUTT! And this whole thing took me like 10 minutes, AND IT'S NOT EVEN 300 WORDS LONG! So you readers might consider yourselves lucky if I continue doing this. I know my ratings will plummet because, but at this point in the publishing process, I really don't care. Maybe sometime in the future, I might change my mind. But for now, enjoy successful, guaranteed double space, instead of cross your fingers, hope it works double space! You might not see it AGAIN!
