Day One.
Dear Diary:
I have no idea how I should start this. I've never really kept a diary before, and I am doing this as some sort of report, I want to recordings of what happens with my life.
I guess that I should start of with the basics, so here it goes. Hello, my name is Blake Pena, currently a 16-year-old teenager. Everything about my life is as usual as it can really be. I am the typical multisport girl, and a music prodigy, oh, let's not forget that a troublemaker genius too. I have an older brother, his name is Carlos and he is currently living on a privilege boarding in California with three other guys. I live with my mother and father in Wisconsin (boring right?) My father name is Carlos, and he works for a secret section of the FBI, just like my mother, Carol.
My life was perfectly fine, until I figured out that my parents were working on a really important gadget, and everyone was after it. The gadget was installed on a necklace, that my father gave to me for safety, as no one would ever think that I was going to carry it around. My parents lost contact with Carlos, so that he wasn't in danger, and as for me, they never let me be alone. Until the day of the tragedy…
My parents got an urgent call from my Grams, stating that she was at the hospital and they didn't know if she was going to make it through. My parents packed their bags and told me that they were leaving to check on her. I was left alone at my house, not that it mattered to me; I know how to defend myself. There was a knock at my front door, as I went to open it two big guys were standing there a gun and knife in hand. That's when my training kicked in and I kicked both of the guys and turned to run away, but I was injured with the knife, before both my parents appeared. I went to hide in the secret room, and saw how both my parents were murdered, and how the two bad guys looked for me.
They left the house when they heard the police, and that was the moment I took to call my brother. We always spoke once a week so that we could talk about everything, just like when he lived with us.

I was comfortably sleeping on the bed of the hotel room I was currently staying. My friends and I had a very important concert the next day, and the school decided that we should the best rest. My sleep was disturbed, when I heard my phone ringing, grunting I turned around to reach for it, only to see that it was my sister calling. Getting out of the bed and room, I answered the phone.
"Blake? What's wrong girl?" I sat down on the floor.
"Carlos, I need to tell you something important." Blake whispered.
"Are you crying? Blake don't you dare lie to me."
"I'm not." Blake replied. "I'm just nervous."
"What is going on Blake? Tell me." I spoke getting anxious.
"First promise me something."
"Anything."
"You have to be strong. You can't let anyone know that you are suffering." I frowned.
"What on earth?" I questioned.
"Promise me Carlos!"
"I promise." I sighed.
"Mom and dad have been murdered." Blake whispered taking in a deep breath.
"What happened?" I questioned trying to control my tears.
"They were supposed to be away, some guys tried to kidnap me, and mom and dad saved me, but they were killed." Blake explained. "I'm sorry."
"You don't have to be sorry Blake." I replied, man I need to be with her, I need to comfort her. "Have they told you anything?"
"The FBI?" Blake questioned. "I'm going to be attending your school, I'll be there next week. And right now I will be staying at the house of the Director, and have six permanent guards, and then I have no idea."
"Okay," I sighed in defeat. "I need you to be strong, just like you asked me, dad trained you well, so you know how to do this okay? I promise you that I will call you tomorrow after my concert is over and every day until we are together once again."
"Yes," Blake whispered. "I need to go, they want to review something with me." She added and I heard people calling her. "I love you Carlos."
"I love you too Blake." I replied. "Make me proud." I whispered and hanged up the phone.
I placed my phone on the floor and hid my face between my knees. Tears fell down my cheeks and I was not going to stop them, my parents were now dead and my baby sister is in danger. I took in a deep breath and tried to calm myself, I would have to tell my friends about Blake, they don't know anything about my family, and I believe that it is time for them to know the truth.
The door opened and Kendall poked his head out. "What's the matter dude?"
"Nothing." I replied standing up. "I just got a phone call." I added wiping my tears. "Let's go back to bed, we have a concert tomorrow."
"If you say so." Kendall spoke not really believing me. "We'll talk about this tomorrow."
"Sure." I sighed and went back to bed.
*Diary Entry*
Hanging up the phone, I took in a deep breath so that I could collect myself and walk over to the Director whom was waiting to give me some further instructions about my safety. As I had already explained to Carlos, I would stay living with him for a week and then I was going to be flying over to California to the boarding school with Carlos.
I sat back in the car and stared at the scenery that flew, my life had changed drastically since the morning when I made the school's basketball team win against our worst opponent, and now, I'm supposed to drop off my whole life and start a new one. I traced the necklace, why is this thing so important?
I guess I should call it a night. That's all for this time.
