Slow Mornings

Slowly dawn reached their room as the sounds of London reached his ear. Their feet helplessly intertwined, John could not help but marvel at the rightness of it all. A long strand of hair tickled his nose as Sherlock moved closer, still lost to sleep. He moved the arm not squished between their bodies to move it and instead ended up merely stroking it, soaking up the smell of grass, cinnamon, and chemicals that it brought. His shorter body practically buried under the longer, thinner one next to him as a hand on his chest continued to dribble a nameless tune.

He loved waking up like this. Not that the laughably small bed they slept in could allow them to sleep any other way. But it was nice to see Sherlock asleep, his eyes closed and his face free of the tension he carried when awake. He looked so fragile like this, childish and it reminded John how human Sherlock could be. He sighed in content and leaned forward to bury his face in Sherlock's hair.

"M'God your nose is cold." Sherlock grumbled sleepily.

John chuckled, "I'll have you know that my nose is a normal temperature. Its your back that is ridiculously hot," he countered.

Sherlock just grumbled, his words slurred with sleep with a few odd curses spoken in French. John placated him by resting a hand on his hip, rubbing soft circles into the skin.

"That shut you up, you sex fiend," John purred softly as Sherlock's words tapered off to a soft hum, sleep still clouding his mind.

"Like your one to talk," Sherlock snicker, brushing a thigh suggestively against John's rather prominent morning wood.

John moaned low and could practically feel the smugness radiating off of Sherlock. Laughing, John playfully bit Sherlock's neck and before Sherlock could do more then shriek a little girlishly, he found that john had flipped him on his back and was now straddling his hips with a certain glint in his eyes.

Oh yes, John though as he sucked Sherlock's lower lip into his mouth, he certainly loved waking up like this.
