There's something about being a Captain.
It makes one proud to wear those 4 pips on your collar. The way your crew stands up when you walk onto the Bridge…the way they automatically look at you when something goes wrong…it all has a sense of adrenaline. It makes you feel important, knowing that people are looking to you for support, advice, and commands.
But, then there's those days when you wish you hadn't even gone to the Academy. It's like everyone wants your attention now, and they can't wait. Everyone is looking up to you; no one can make a single decision without you approving it. It's a stressful, irritating job.
But then again, who ever said being a Captain was easy?
