Harry sat on the cold bathroom floor deciding his best move, he couldn't go downstairs because he would see but he couldn't stay in the bathroom all day because he would look stupid… so basically he was screwed. Deciding he would slowly make his way downstairs, he stood up and looked in the mirror but the difference this time was he didn't recognise the reflection he was staring at a stranger… his eyes were blood shot and red from all the crying, he had lost weight from not eating, Harry looked away from the mirror and down to his wrists the blood was starting to seep through the cloth he had wrapped round them, sighing he untied the blood covered material and placed it in the bin. He gently cleaned the cuts with fresh water and after the blood finally decided to stop he covered the red scars in some bracelets the fans had given him. He slowly opened the door and slowly began walking down the steps leading to the living room where he knew they would be probably attached at the lips; just the thought caused a lump in his throat. Swallowing the lump Harry padded into the living room ignoring the looks Louis shot him and walked straight into the kitchen, he decided to make himself look busy so he gently pressed down on the kettle and waited for the leaver to pop back up again, just before he was about to add water into his empty cup he heard a soft voice behind him.
"Why Harry? Why would you do that to yourself?" He heard Louis whisper from behind him, the words were on repeat in his head... how did he know?
"W-what?" He managed to breath, turning round to face a distraught Louis.
"I saw your wrists Harry; I saw the red scars… didn't do very well at hiding it." The older boy looked like he was about to break down then and there and didn't make Harry feel any better.
"I-It hasn't anything to do with you Lou." Harry muttered, "It's not like you really care anyway."
Louis eyes locked with Harry's, both boys looked broken "How could you ever think that, you know you come first in everything Harry you mean the world to me." Harry let out a bitter laugh and glared slightly leaving Louis confused and slightly hurt.
"Then how come the other week when I came to see you for help but you blew me off for Eleanor, I needed you Lou but you didn't care." The younger of the two finally let a tear flow down his cheek and didn't make a move to wipe it away.
"I broke up with Eleanor today, she just left I saw you like this and just couldn't do it anymore." Louis managed to say even though his voice shook.
"That doesn't make any sense; you broke up with Eleanor because you felt sorry for me?" Harry furrowed his eyebrows not quite understanding.
"No… I broke up with Eleanor because I realized seeing you like this that I couldn't imagine being with anyone but… you." Louis looked at the floor scared to meet the younger boys gaze.
Harry couldn't put an emotion on what he was feeling, he wanted to run up and kiss the boy until his lips bled but another part of him said 'don't listen it's a joke'
"I need you to answer one question.." He muttered "Is this a joke to see if Harry can fall and never get up?" The younger asked sounding like a child.
"I would never do that to you Haz, never…" Louis said finally looking up and meeting Harry's gaze.
Walking the few steps over to Louis, he caught his lips in a passionate kiss putting every emotion he has felt the past year into it. Louis was caught off guard but didn't hesitate to kiss back; the two boys were tangled in each other's arms like their lives depended on it, finally Louis pulled away and smiled softly.
"I love you Haz."
"I love you too Lou."
And from that day on each boy promised that if they ever had a problem again they would tell the other because that's what you do when 'you're hopelessly devoted' to each other.
-This was my first go at writing slash... it's awful I know but I tried, rather cheesy title and end but still hope you enjoy(:
