"Oh no. That time of year had rolled around again. I can't believe I've lasted this long. End-of-the-Year testing. Dear Gods, please save me.
"Mr. Kern passed out the test. I tried not to stare at the gap where his toupee sticks up, unnoticed by Mr. Kern. Suddenly, the rest of the class started writing. I hadn't heard the instructions, so I snuck a peek at my neighbor's paper.
" 'Mr. Jackson! The test has not begun, so why are you looking over at Tanya's paper?' Mr. Kern asked sternly. Busted!
"I stared blankly at Mr. Kern, pretending I was innocent. Mr. Kern went back to the board and gave us more instructions on what to write in the boxes. These, I heard. It was still a little annoying because we only take this test every year. So, pretty much it was only useful for me.
"We started in English. I decided I should bubble as I went a long. I began to read the first passage. Oh look…a Greek tale…WAIT WHAT? Oh, lovely, it's about Paris and the three goddesses and the apple of desire…
"I think the only reason I got through the first passage is because I already knew the story. So, I stared at the first question.
"1. Why did Paris pick Aphrodite?
A. Aphrodite forced him to.
B. He hated Hera.
C. He wanted love more than wisdom or power.
D. He wanted to start the Trojan War.
"Oh my gods. I started laughing at B because it reminded me of you a bit. I controlled my laughter and picked the right answer.
"I struggled through the test, sneaking glances up at the clock every twenty seconds, which made time pass more slowly. Finally, three hours later, after everyone else was already done, I proudly closed my test booklet.
"The class cheered because now we could go to lunch. I would have been flattered, but they had all been jeering at me earlier to hurry up.
"Yup, End-of-the-Year testing will be the death of me, Annabeth. So just know that if I don't come to camp this summer, that's the reason why. Bye Annabeth, love you!" Percy said to his girlfriend.
"Percy, stop being a Seaweed Brain," he heard Annabeth say before cutting the connection.
One month later...
Annabeth hugged Percy as soon as he scaled the hill.
"Okay, maybe I was over exaggerating," Percy said.
Annabeth didn't let go. She knew at the time that he was over exaggerating, but she still worried because Percy hadn't I-Med at all in the last month. "Maybe, Seaweed Brain," she replied.

***EDIT*** THE POLE HAS BEEN TAKEN DOWN. SORRY TO CONFUSE YOU
Guess what I was doing when I wrote this. (CST testing, maybe?)
