What I Am?

In the wind I blow
A sight to see
I know not were I go
In quest to be free
No matter what I try
Heart and mind in motion
Always I'm to wonder why
My body doesn't get the notion
When I was the only one there to stop my love
Useful I was not, to be frank
For him escaping I only have myself to thank
Try as I might
no matter what I do
I will never be the light
to help dispel the dark, true?
