Just a small and sad poem I wrote earlier today. Set about a year after AWE, Elizabeth was NEVER pregnant (Will's a eunuch, anyway, remember?)

Enjoy!

As The Wind Blows

As the wind blows across the sea,

He thinks of her and where she'll be.

Wanting her back,

But she's just out of reach,

Stranded alone on an empty beach.

--

Doomed for eternity,

Bound by rings,

Her feelings are caged,

Until she sings.

--

Glorious notes fly through the air,

As she thinks he sails without a care,

But alas, he doesn't;

He thinks of she,

She who will one day set him free.

--

Lest her wings soar,

And she flies away,

She's bound to the land,

Until that one day.

--

The sand crunches beneath his feet,

The hope of seeing her makes him complete,

He chases her footsteps without a word,

Until, then, her singing is heard.

--

She stops singing, and he stops too,

"I've been hoping and thinking and dreaming of you."

She tells him she loves him with a single kiss,

And then they travel to unbelievable bliss.

--

Now they lie, hands entwined,

The words of love ring through their minds,

In the same moment, their breathing ends,

And the mournful mist of death slowly descends.

So in case you didn't follow that:

Jack was sailing towards Elizabeth's island where she sits and sings on the beach to try and let out her feelings for Jack. He finds her, and Elizabeth says the only line of speech in there. They tell each other that they love them, and then they make love in the sand.

Afterwards, they both commit suicide (don't ask me how), and their breathing stops at the same time, and they die in each other's arms on the beach.
