Introduction - Panic! At the Disco
Prologue
Warriors clash down on the vast, green field, much to the amusement of the audience. Soldiers and spectators alike wore their house colour proudly. Female watchers admire their favourite soldiers, yelling encouragements.
But I do not fawn over the males below as the others do. I watched with growing anxiety as a man stalks up the steps to where I sit in the top corner, alone. Always alone.
I watch him watch me, his expression hungry, as one would look at a buffet after a fast.
It was by his will that I sat here, at the last place I would want to be, watching a brutal sport I did not enjoy, without my favourite person by my side.
He stopped in front of me, looking pleasant. A polite greeting passes between us, and through the hellos he hears my surrender.
He has won, and we both know it.
Author's Note: Ta-da! The first chapter. How exciting. I wasn't going to post anything until I finished writing the whole thing, but current time crunches on other projects and my mad desire to get this out doesn't let me. How upsetting. I have no will power, obviously.
So, review, and I will reply, because I love reviewers!
