A/N: This is my first foray into TDWP fanfiction, and my first fiction in quite a while. As such, it is rough and un beta-d, and completely my fault.
Hot. Wet.
I love how a shower makes me feel at the end of a long day, or after sweating profusely, or, well, anytime. I love the hot water caressing my aching muscles, calming me down and working out the kinks of the day in a harsh or soft manner. Yes, even though I don't make much I splurged for an amazing shower head. And no, it does not come off the wall. Pervs.
Coffee does much the same. The first cup of coffee in my day relaxes me and energizes me all at the same time. I cannot even function until I have that first, sub-standard cup from my coffee maker in my apartments kitchen. Ever since Nate moved out, everything in that kitchen has been substandard. But, as they say, good riddance to horrible, scruffy, insensitive rubbish. Whatever. Even though I'm not a journalist, officially, I can still claim artistic license.
So you see it is with some reverence that I bring La Priestly her coffee every morning, scalding hot and low fat, similar to my shower. But today, something is different.
Or maybe not different so much as more obvious, at least to myself.
I'm staring at her drinking the coffee instead of taking notes on her demands.
And I'm thinking about being that coffee, sliding through her hot, wet mouth and caressing her tongue and energizing her. God do I want to energise her. I stare at her throat muscles as she swallows and loose focus, thinking about how OTHER things might be hot and wet. And tight.
"Andrea"
I lick my lips and let my gaze drift lower….
"Andrea" I hear her now and snap back to myself.
Oh shit, I hope she didn't notice that. I nod my head muttering something that may or may not be "yes Miranda" and practically run out of her office, though how anyone can run in 4 inch heels is beyond me. But I manage it.
I'm so fired.
There goes my nice shower head.
