A/N: "I hope you haven't been waiting long." "Only three years." How romantic is this line like seriously? So the last episode was amazing, but due to needing to focus on my NaNo novel, I only had time for these.

Promise - The response letter after Korra finally writes to Asami starts with "promise to never stop writing again" and ends with "I miss you. Love, Asami."

Haven - Asami wanted to make Republic City back into the haven of hope it was meant to be for everyone, but for one person in particular.

Dream - Asami had waited contently for Korra for three years, taking solstice only in vague dreams and letters.

Touch - To find herself always reaching for Asami, to find her touch returned with soft yet calloused hands, even in the midst of battle Korra had to swallow back a smile.

Heal - Korra had thought herself completely healed after her time with Toph, until she found her way into Asami's arms; nothing felt better.

Letter - It seemed they had started a habit, for even years down the road when they shared a house and their lives together, letters to each other would find their way into the mail.

Hair - Korra would love to wake up everyday with Asami, even if it meant sometimes having a mouth full of dark and beautiful, but long, hair.

Travel - Being the Avatar means lots of traveling, but so does being a CEO; it's funny how Sato Industry's business meetings always coincide with where the Avatar is currently needed.

Sleepy - Despite being the shorter one, Korra loved to scoop her partner up, especially when Asami was tired from a long day at work and needed some extra pampering.

Music - "A new song and dance came out while you were away, let me teach you," Asami beamed, hand held out in offer, and how was Korra supposed to say no to that?

Candy - Korra held the Water Tribe candy between two fingers in offer to Asami, who gave a little smirk, before using her mouth to accept the treat, leaving some lipstick that Korra's cheeks were now trying to beat in color.

Taste - When they first kissed, Asami couldn't help but think Korra tasted like happiness and her strong arms like home.

Close - "Hey Asami, you and Korra seem really close now, yeah?" Bolin asked, his face more kindly than Mako's accusing as he continued, "I mean, she wrote you all those letters."

Warmth - There was no persuading Korra to leave the warmth of her and Asami's bed for cold of the South Pole day, no matter what Avatar work she was supposed to be doing.

Waiting - Part of Asami didn't want to admit it, but she would have waited for Korra indefinably.

Sky - How cliche was it for Asami to compare Korra's eyes to the bright summer sky, but how else she could explain the way she always felt like she was flying when she looked into them.

Drive - "Korra, we need to try and teach you to drive again." "But I like the excuse to have you with me."

Nighttime - Before she went to the south pole to heal, the only way Korra got any sleep was when Asami drifted off beside her, their hands' twined together.

Snuggle - "Korra I need to go to work." The only response to this was Korra humming contently and snuggling closer against Asami's back.
