TWO WEEKS AFTER THE BETRAYAL:

There was a sickening noise as the Buneary collapsed to the floor, trying desperately to crawl away from the Pikachu assaulting her. She whimpered as his paws grabbed the fur around her waist, dragging her over to a nearby vase. The mouse grabbed the vase as the rabbit gasped for breath.

"Please! Stop!" She sobbed as she cowered on the floor. Had she looked at her assailant, she might have seen the pain in his eyes as he brought the vase down onto her face. The vase shattered, cutting her face and causing the crying Normal Type to spit up some blood.

"You're cleaning that up." Dawn said from the couch, not even bothering to look up from her phone. Buneary scrabbled along the floor desperately, only for Pikachu to grab her arm. However, the angle that he grabbed her arm, and the speed she was moving, caused a sickening crack. Buneary's screams intensified as she held onto her now broken arm.

"That's enough!" Pikachu straightened as Pachirisu blocked him from Buneary. The cold glare she gave him stopped him from going further, and secretly, he was grateful for that...

"How is she?"

"Fine, no thanks to you!" Pikachu sighed.

"I admit, I went overboard." The electric squirrel slapped him. He wincedas his cheek stung. "I said I know I went overboard!"

"You're an asshole." Pikachu shook his head.

"That hurt me more than it hurt Buneary, but it's the only way I can get her to go to Ash."

"By abusing her!?"

"It's Buneary. I had to take extreme measures."

"Fuck you!" Pikachu sighed, knowing it was no use arguing with Pachirisu. He turned and walked away.

Pikachu yawned as he walked through the halls, hoping to get a glass of water. He froze when he saw light coming from Buneary's room. He quietly pushed open the door, stepping in lightly. To his confusion, there was no one in the room.

"Buneary?" He whispered quietly.

"She is gone, along with the rest that are loyal to Ash." Before he could even register the voice, he felt his throat constrict, cutting off his breathing. He was levitated into the air as Mewtwo appeared before him. Pikachu gasped, struggling for breath. "...Your heart is filled with regret. I see what your real intentions are, but do you really feel that your actions are best?" He released his grip on the mouse, who fell to the floor, gasping for breath. Mewtwo turned to leave.

"Don't-" Mewtwo stopped as Pikachu struggled to speak. "Don't tell Ash!" The Genetic Pokémon grimiced, and with that, he was gone. Pikachu slumped to his side, feeling tears start to well up. "I'm sorry Buneary..."
