Well it took a while and it is short but here we go. This is a prequel to one of my other stories, Early Confusion, because I got several requests to tell everyone what made Ziva so angry. Anyway, here it is. Enjoy and review please!

Very Special Agent Tony DiNozzo sat at his desk in the squadroom early one morning, tapping a pencil in a steady beat on the file folder in front of him. He knew it was getting on Ziva's nerves and so he kept at it.
"Tony!" Ziva finally said through clenched teeth.
"Yeeessss?" he replied, drawing the word out and trying to annoy her even more. To his right, McGee stayed quiet, wondering whether the senior field agent had a death wish.
"Knock. It. Off." Ziva was really not in the mood for her partner's antics.
"Knock what off, Zee-vah?"
McGee prepared himself for the sound of a bullet being fired into Tony's skull, relieved and somewhat surprised when it didn't come.
"The tapping!" It took all of her willpower not to pull out her gun and shoot him.
"Oh! The tapping! Does it bother you, Miss David?" Tony continued to tap, quicker and louder now.
"Yes," she hissed.
"Oh okay. Sorry." He smiled at her and set the pencil down. But he wasn't quite ready to stop tormenting her and began to shake his leg against the desk, creating a loud rattling noise.
Fed up, Ziva slammed her open palm against her desk. McGee, who was no longer trying to work but surreptitiously watching the exchange, jumped.
"TONY, WOULD YOU JUST KNOCK IT OFF!" Ziva yelled. The squadroom, mostly quiet and empty to begin with, became completely silent as Tony stopped shaking his leg.
"Jeez. Try some Midol, why don't ya?" He barely had time to duck before the stapler came flying towards his head. McGee's eyes widened and Ziva stood abruptly, her chair flying back and into the bookshelf behind her. His heart sped up when he realized she held one of her knives in her hand.
"Crap!" Tony squeaked, jumping up and running out of the bullpen faster than McGee would have thought possible.
Ziva raced after him, lunging and tackling the larger man to the floor, whom yelped and he went down. McGee was, by this point, very frightened and he moved towards the nearest safe place, which happened to be up the stairs towards MTAC and Vance's office. Halfway up, he heard the familiar clunk-clunk of platform boots and looked up in time to see Abby coming towards him quickly. Before he had a chance to say anything, the eccentric Goth rammed into him and McGee flew over the railing of the stairs, just barely grabbing onto the handrail and saving himself from hitting the ground.
"Abby?" he screeched. "Where are you going? Help!" "Sorry, Timmy!" Abby called over her shoulder but she didn't stop to help as she ran down the stairs and out of sight. A few moments later he heard the elevator ding.
McGee sighed and adjusted his grip on the handrail. He just hoped someone would come by and help him soon.
