Akamaru had taken over Kiba's bed years ago. It had never been a problem. But back then, Akamaru hadn't been the size of the bed.
"Akamaru, move over," Kiba drawled, exhausted from the long day and just wanting to get some sleep. He gently nudged his friend, who grumbled in response.
Kiba tried to find a place on the bed to curl up on, but every time he did Akamaru would stretch out even further, not allowing Kiba up onto the mattress.
It was a small sacrifice. He would let Akamaru have his bed this night while he slept on the floor.
