Jade Harley… The happy girl who managed to steal a grumpy troll's heart. The one he's flushed for. Said girl was sitting by the horn pile as Karkat walked in. her dog ears were down and she was facing away from the door. Her body was shaking. "Hey… Fuckass? What's wrong, ya cold?" At the sound of his voice, the dog girl jumped and wiped her face, before turning around. "Hey karkat. What's up?" she says. The male troll blinked at her sudden mood change. For once he got quiet. Mumbling, "don't 'what's up' me…just tell me what's wrong. I'm not going to leave until you do, understand?" Jade blinked back more tears and ran to him embracing him. "Davesprite broke up with me, then I shot Dave an-"Karkat cut her off by hugging her and humming. Eventually, she fell asleep. Before leaving her to sleep, he stopped at the door and whispered a quick "red for you"
Timeskip
The next morning, jade woke up with a strange feeling of forgetting something. "Karkat?" She called out. With no reply. She shrugged her shoulders and got up to walk out when she heard honks. Not coming from the pile underneath her. Having heard about Gamzee and his honking when he was sober, Jade quickly ran to the corner of the room and hid in a box. Her Dog tier outfit falling down just in time for her to close the box before the room's door opened. Honks were the only sound that could be heard. Looking through the cracks of the door, Jade saw Gamzee peeking in, red blood on his clubs. "Jade-sis? You in here? Kar-bro did so much to keep me from going here. So I came here after stopping him." Shrugging his shoulders, Gamzee walked out of the room, and his honks became distant. After a few minutes, Jade quietly got out of the box, and walked to the door. Looking out in the hall, she walked out and walked the way gamzee had come. All the while, equipping her strife specibus. Her shotgun pointed ahead, she walked down the hall, and saw Karkat's room's door open. She peeked in and almost screamed her despair Karkat was on the floor by the door, barley breathing. "Karkat?" She whispered. The boy's eyes opened, and red tears started showing. "J-jade, thank gog that you're still alive, I wanted to- to tell you something-"Jade shushed him and kissed him, before she realized it, Gamzee came in behind her and drew his club again. Striking her in the head. "Love you Karkat." She whispered before Gamzee's club hit her. Deciding he was done, he grabbed her red slippers and walked away honking. "Red for you too." Karkat whispered on his final breath.

Jade woke up and looked around, she was wearing her t-shirt and Skirt from before she ascended. "So he did kill me…" She whispered looking around the forest she had woken up in. To her right, she saw Karkat laying on the ground. Crawling to him, she sat next to him and pet his head waiting for him to wake up. Soon enough, he shot up and she hugged him. "It'll be okay now, Kar-Puppy!" Jade smiled at him, and his glowing white eyes watched her, as he too relaxed into a small grin. "YEAH, WE WILL."

"We now have to deal with kankri all eternity…."Jade quietly whispered.
"FUCK!" karkat exclaimed.
"Language Karkat!" Kankri called out of nowhere, emerging from the bushes.
