The feeling of soft skin pressing against his own and the crinkling of clean sheets were the first things that Tsunami registered as he drifted slowly into consciousness Soon after came the sound of breathing and the smell of the ocean; the light filtering in through the curtains behind his head and the sleepy smile of his boyfriend beside him. A smile of his own stretched across his face as he tucked a hand into fluffy brown locks and leaned in to nuzzle their noses together.
"Good morning," Tachimukai chuckled. Tachimukai, who smelled perpetually like toffee. Tachimukai, who would make him breakfast. Tachimukai, who wouldn't even get mad when he came home covered in salt water from his head to his toes, soaking the floor around him.
He loved him, he loved him so much.
Tsunami rolled over until he was on top of the brunette, face buried in his neck. Holding the smaller man was comfortable and peaceful; nothing could make him happier.
"Jousuke, I can't breathe."
Tsunami lifted himself up a bit. He studied Tachimukai's face for a moment, which was alight with tired amusement, before leaning down and pressing their lips together. He kissed him once, twice, three times, and then pulled away.
The smaller man was laughing and running his hands through the mop of pink hair on Tsunami's head. He was quite obviously not surprised by this kind of behavior; it happened often. He happily kissed back, laughter dying down as Tsunami's kisses began to leave him less time to giggle in-between.
"I love you, Yuuki." Tsunami sighed out loud, pressing their foreheads together for a moment.
"Yes, I know, and I love you too." Tachimukai smiled. "But if you keep this up, I'm going to have to keep you in bed for a while longer than you planned, and you'll miss your morning surf." His tone was teasing, but he wasn't quite joking as he loosened his arms from around the surfer's shoulders.
If for only a moment, Tsunami considered getting up, but moments pass quickly and he soon went back to kissing. One day wouldn't hurt him, and this was a much better alternative anyways.
So he wrapped them together in the crisp white sheets and breathed in the scent of toffee and ocean breeze.
