For those who remember the bar scene in the movie, this is a twist based off of a dream I had back in 2016.
Basil watched in disgust as Dr. Dawson danced with the lady mice at the bar since his partner was adamantly drunk. "Go ahead, drink, and make a fool out of yourself!"" Basil conceded in a sarcastic manner.
"Those show girls are pretty hot, don't you think?" a voice asked from behind the mouse detective. It was from Fidget!
Upon hearing this, Basil slumped back on his chair in shock. "Fidget, what in Heaven's name brought you here?"
"I just thought I'd get a drink until I got distracted by those pretty ladies," Fidget answered.
"Alright, be off with you," Basil said, shooing Fidget away.
To loosen up a little, the peg legged bat had bought himself a drink of Rodent's Delight, thinking about Miss Kitty and her sisters made him thirsty. A minute later, he set off on his merry way back to Ratigan's palace, cheerfully singing "Let Me Be Good to You".
Eventually, Basil and Dr. Dawson went after him as soon as the doctor himself was sober.
