They were fighting, yelling at each other until their throats gave up and only let out hoarse sounds.

"Tell me that it's just sex! Tell me!" Yamato screamed with tears in his eyes. He was furious, he couldn't think clear. A part of his body screamed for closeness, the other part for an answer.
He wanted to know.

"Why are we even talking about this?!" The other man countered.

"I need to know!"

"YOU need to know? It's you that have been acting weird lately, I'm the one that needs answers!"

"Don't be so egocentric, we both know that you're the one that started this…"

"Started what?"

"Oh, you know…" Yamato blushed and waved with his hands angrily, "this sick fuck-buddy-relationship!"

"I haven't started anything! You can't say that you didn't want to, can you? And we're not fuck-buddies…"

"Then what are we?"

Kakashi looked insecure. The brown haired enjoyed every second of that look on his senpai's face, it was so unlike him to stare like that with doubtful eyes and raised eyebrows.
The man didn't answer.

"You wait for me in the shower, you constantly flirt with me out in public and you always say that you've missed me after a mission when we've not been together. What is all this about?!"

The silver haired man had calmed down, and now he looked tired and a little bit bored in a very Kakashi-ish way. Yamato got angry by the sight. He felt immature and misunderstood, but he knew that his senpai wanted him to feel just like that, so he took a deep breath and stared at the man in front of him.

"Tenzou, please… Can we just let this go?"

"Then you're not welcome here any more."

If felt like someone was stabbing his heart, deep and callous.
The other man looked like he just had seen a ghost. His already pale face showed no sign of sorrow or confusion, he just looked shocked.

"You don't mean that…" he said quietly.

Yamato looked down on the floor with watery eyes, but he tried to mentally push away the tears and thoughts. He didn't want to think, as he knew that he was going to break into a total wreck if he thought about never seeing Kakashi-senpai again.
It felt like his whole body broke into pieces and flew out through the window together with the mild spring breeze.

Suddenly he felt arms around his body and a pair of lips pressed against his forehead. The scent of the shinobi made his whole body weak and brittle like the most fragile glass, and he had fallen to the ground if Kakashi hadn't kept his body close to his own.

"It's not just sex, it's a lot more than that" the silver haired murmured, placed a soft kiss on his forehead and let go of his grip.

He was gone within a second.

Yamato fell to the floor and landed on his knees with his hands covering his face. He cried for minutes, in silence.
After a while he laid back on the carpet.

"I love you" he whispered to the cold, white walls.
