Bloodess
I stared into the mirror and what looked back didn't scare me as much as it did before. Like every morning since the AAO attacked me when I was visiting Gramps, I woke up covered in blood. My honey toned hair was smudged with the horrid crimson liquid, and the chestnut eyes that once brought joy to others had the faintest hint of red at the left of my pupil. Still, no matter how much I tried to show something was wrong, I just couldn't. Namely because I didn't want people to get involved with whatever was happening to my body.
Already, I could change my hair colour to a midnight red on command, but what would happen if my eyes could change as well? My alarm clock went off signalling school was in 30 minutes. Quickly, I hopped into the shower and watched the blood wash away down the drain like a mouse running from a cat.
My uniform was waiting for me as I stepped back into my bedroom in nothing but a towel that just covered my butt. Slowly I dropped it and pulled on the blue, middle school skirt. I glanced at it, making sure no stains were present, luckily there weren't, but I spotted something else instead.
My feet, wrists and the left side of my neck were marked with a strange symbol. It was like an upsidedown sword, a star was present with a cresent moon turned 90'o degrees clockwise (Like a frown) above the star and hilt. I gasped as my pinky poked the one on my right wrist, it stung like nothing I'd ever felt before. I rushed to finish my uniform, a white shirt was forced over my head along with an Alice Academy school black hoodie, and a pair of white ankle socks and brown pumps were fitted onto my feet.
I looked into the mirror again and raced towards my small chest of drawers and dragged out a pair of black fingerless gloves and a blue scarf and put them on.
"Success!" I cried holding up the peace sign. The alarm clock went off again, which meant another thing for me.
I had to fake I was only geting up now.

"Ohaiyo Mina-san!" I yelled as I opened the classroom doors. I was greeted back with a lot of 'Good to see you Mikan', and 'Morning to you to!' but the only thing my mind focused on was a specific raven haired girl sitting in the third row down from the front.
"Ho-ta-ru~!" I charged in for a hug.
Baka! Baka! Baka! Baka! Baka-Boom!
My bestfriend since childhood blew the top of her new invention and turned towards no one and began to talk.
"Invention 103, the Baka-Bazooka 2004, delivers strong blows to your enemy or annoying friend with one click of a button. 30,000 rabbits, available in stores next Thursday"
"Um...Hotaru? Who're you talking to?" I asked, with the entire class sweatdropping with me.
"Nobody who'd be interested in you" She sighed, settling down into her seat again.
"Oh, okay...HEY!" I raised my fists into the air and began shouting things about how mean Hotaru was.
The door slid open and in strolled the two people who I didn't particularly want see at the moment. Ruka Nogi and Natsume Hyuuga.
