It was the final battle and along the way the Inutachi had added more to their group. The lord Sesshoumaru, Kikyou, Kouga, Ayame, Ginta, Hakaku, Jinenji, Shiori, and many more. The battle was fierce. With Sango fighting Kohaku. Miroku and Kilala covering for Sango. Kouga and Ayame were battling Kagura. Shiori was battling Kanna. Jinenji, Ginta, Hakaku, and the wolves attacked the remaining demons. Sesshoumaru and Inuyasha were directly facing Naraku. While Kagome battled Hakudoshi/ Akago. Then there was Kikyou who was sending arrows in the direction of Alli's who need help. Kagome had sent Rin and Shippo off earlier with Jaken and Ah-Un.
It was a literal blood bath everywhere. Finally it came down to just Naraku. Seeing as how Shiori had defeated Kanna and Koga and Ayame have defeated Kagura. Kagome had just defeated Hakudoshi/ Akago when she heard the cry of Shippo, who just couldn't stay away from the fight. She felt cold fear grip her heart and turned towards the sound. She then saw that Naraku held her baby up by three tentacles close to Naraku's hand. Kagome saw Naraku smirk as he tightened his grip on Shippoto the point of being painful. She saw red, and instantly had two arrows strung and aimed right at him. "Let my son go," she quietly snarled. When he didn't she growled loudly, and impressively for a human, at Naraku. She instantly released her arrows and watched as Naraku threw up his barrier. She did not even smirk when he realized that his barrier would not work against her arrow.
She watched closely for the chance to get both Shippo and the jewel from him. As soon as that chance showed itself she used all the speed that she had to grab them both. Then once she was out of the range of fire she called to Inuyasha and Sesshoumaru to release their attacks. She then quickly set Shippo down so she could strung and arrow and fire it off as well. All three attacks raced from different directions to come together and hit the intended target with twice the power and speed then if it was just one attack. Naraku died screaming all the way Kagome then raced over to where she could still see his soul and purified it to a degree that it will never be reincarnated again or be able to be brought back to life in any other way as well.
Kagome the stood and collected both hers and Naraku's shards together. They formed together into the shikon jewel only leaving three slots open for the ones with Koga and the one with Kohaku. Koga then stood up with a sigh holding out the shards that he had already taken out of his legs. "I am going to miss the speed." Kagome thanked him and then turned to where Sango had Kohaku unconscious. She sighed then looked to Sesshoumaru. "Can you?" She saw him nod then walk over and swing his sword over Kohaku who then began to breathe again without the aid of the jewel shard that Kagome walked over and took out. Then Kagome stepped back and completed putting the jewel back together. As soon as she did there was a bright flash of light and as soon as everyone was able to see again they saw Kagome unconscious on the ground clutching the jewel tightly.
