AN: Just a short little something, because Mike Chang is just (wait for it…) Awesome. :D
5 Things Mike Chang loves about Rachel Berry, in order.
5.) She is completely committed to their relationship, 200%, and honestly? That's a little hot, and after the Brittany fiasco, it's welcome. After Brittany, or AB, he'd been really torn up, simply because he hadn't been enough for her. But with Rachel, she let him know all the time how much she loved being with him. She let him know she was proud of him when he got good grades, after a football/basketball/baseball game, even after a glee performance. And that is just awesome.
4.) She's totally focused on everything she does; singing, acting, dancing, kissing, it doesn't matter, she gives her all. And dear lord, it is amazing. She is amazing. And honestly a little terrifying, but totally worth it. Honestly, if he'd known what he knows now in, what, the ninth grade? He'd have been with her for even longer than he has already. (one unbelievable year)
But honestly? The kissing's his favorite part, because she's determined to practice. A lot.
3.) Part 1-She's a good friend. To everyone. Even Quinn, who had moved out of Mercedes house because Mercedes' family was moving to another house on the other side of town. Quinn had moved into Rachel's house. Puck had made Matt, Artie and Mike camp out in front of Rachel's house the first night Quinn had stayed there, claiming they would kill each other before the sun came up.
They didn't, however, they both tried to kill Puck, and only Puck.
"We can't hurt the rest of you because your significant others would be angry." Quinn said.
"Uh, Quinn? I am your significant other." Matt said. "And Tina's got Artie, but who's got Mike?"
"Me." Rachel said sweetly. (don't be fooled children-she uses that tone for evil)
"Really?" Mike smiled.
"Yep. You have no choice. Come on Quinn, lets let the stupid boys be stupid boys." she grabbed a laughing Quinn and went into the house.
"Dude, you just got marked by Rachel Berry." Matt said.
"Yeah, she practically peed on you!" Puck added.
"Will someone please take me home?" Artie asked desperately.
Which brings him to:
3.) Part 2-She's possessive. (which is partially shown in the conversation above) Really possessive. When they go out, she holds his hand and kisses him, like normal couples, but as soon as 'some harlot' starts to even look at him, she's dragging him to the back room, and locking the door. When they come back out, his shirt is untucked, his hair's messy, and he usually has a hicky. The guys notice every time, not that he minds.
"Rachel's even more scary when she doesn't yell." Artie commented once. Finn nodded.
"Yeah. I wouldn't want to see how she would handle someone who wouldn't leave Mike alone, even after that." Matt said.
"Dude. We so would. There'd be hair pulling and scratching and clothes ripping…Ouch!"
"I heard that." Rachel smacked him again. "You're such a pig Noah." she leaned in. "but for the record, there would be no hair pulling. I would destroy her. But only if she was all over Mike and wouldn't take no for an answer." Puck gaped at her while Mike and the others laughed.
2.) His family loves her. All of them, and he means all of them. His three older sisters, his two brothers-in-law, his niece and nephew, his mom, his dad, both sets of his grandparents, his aunt and uncle, his cousins. All of them form what Puck calls 'The Official Rachel Berry Fan Club of Ohio'. he's always joking about it, but his mom and sister would definitely be card carrying members, if they had cards. Which, they probably will soon.
1.) She loves him. And really, if he thinks about it, it's the only thing that matters, cause he loves her too.
