A/N: Ft.: All the official Crypton Vocaloids (with a few scattered characters from different companies). A splash of Little Mermaid. A dash of Romeo and Cinderella. A little bit of Melt and The Snow White Princess is—. MeiKai and Len/Miku/Rin. In short, the whole story's about my OTP and OT3, respectively. LOL. (I thought it like a gift to myself because I was just forced to write about my NOTP (my friend's OTP) for my friend's birthday and I have to blow off steam)
Once upon a time—for it seems that that is how most stories start—in a magical kingdom where magic is becoming rare, there are six characters the reader might be interested on.
First is the pink-haired witch Luka, who has been living in the thick said-to-be-cursed woods by the sea, that the people have forgotten her very existence. She adopted a teal-haired girl by the name of Miku, who is the sole child of the Hatsunes, the enemy of the royal Kagamines.
The Hatsunes and Kagamines have been rivals for so long, that when you ask any of the family members, they would just say they hate each other even though they, themselves have no reason to do so, and they have forgotten why it came as so (it is actually a story about a sheep, a wolf, a girl, and a boy—but telling of that story would take long. You can always ask the good witch though; just make sure she is in a good mood, because even though she is good, she is still a witch and there is no telling what she might do).
However, though the families have been foes, Miku is good friends with the twins from the Kagamine family: Rin, and Len (Len, being the youngest). Princess Rin and Prince Len, though different in gender, look so much alike, that when one pretends as the other, it would be hard to tell who is who. The only ones who managed to do so, was: Miku (because she had spent so much time with them she eventually learned of quirks and habits that is specific of the twin), Luka (because she's a witch, although most of the time she doesn't even bother finding out and just calls the twins—and in that case, anyone—any name she can think of), and Kaito. The reason to that is because Kaito is their eldest brother. The crown prince.
Now, Prince Kaito does not want to be the crown prince. Although he admits it is great that he is a prince, being a crown prince is a different matter. Being king means more responsibility, means political wars, and a whole lot more things like that. Prince Kaito doesn't like that. At all. What he wants to do is go on adventures by setting sail on his ship: for that is what his heart yearns: the sea. He wants to see the world.
Near the seas of the kingdom, at the deep oceans, is an underwater kingdom. It is the kingdom of underwater creatures, and the king is a merman. Still rather young, he has promised himself not to let himself the same mistake his father did: fall in love with a human. Their human mother had left them, and to him, it was unforgivable. So he made sure that his sisters, get it too. But one of his sisters, by the name of Meiko, would not listen to him. She would even swim close to shore, where she evetually met the Luka. After that, they would always be together, being close friends. Meiko had also watched over Miku occasionally, and look at her as she would her younger sisters.
There, dear reader, are all the important characters to be in our story. Are you still interested? I do hope so. In the next chapter, I would tell you more of their stories.
