( rather extreme language ahead )
"I'm not doing this."
Marco stood at the principal's office, a bit frustrated in the situation he's in. On the other hand, a blind, blonde girl sat on a chair next to the door, holding a stick that had a ball on the end. The ball had a star design on it as well.
"Marco," Principal Skeeves answered, "I wouldn't have called you down here if it weren't for your situation."
"Guess everyone knows about this now, huh?"
"Yes, and as principle, I want to help out the students as much as possible."
"No, forget it. I said I'm not gonna do it."
"This feels pointless, anyways," the blind girl says. "I believe we're done here."
"No, we're not, Star," the principle argued. "This young man will agree to this."
"Listen to me, Skeeves," Marco said back. "I played in a mariachi band. Hell, I was even the lead singer. I even helped a lot of foreign exchange students for a few bucks. But a blind girl? You're out of your damn mind."
"You see?" Star questioned. "We're all just wasting our time here. The only thing's left is how much he's getting paid."
"Great idea, Star," Skeeves said proudly. "You want a job, Marco Diaz? Why don't you look at this newspaper?"
The principle slid a newspaper on his desk. Marco picked it up and looked at the ad circled in red pen. He was then shocked from this sudden realization. Star, on the other hand, was not pleased from this at all.
"Of course!" Star yelled, standing up. "Of course it would be the fucking money you would do this! That's it, I'm leaving here!"
"Star, wait!" the principle said, hoping to calm her down as she was trying to leave. "We're not finished here!"
"Whatever, Skeeves!" she screamed, leaving the room.
"Some blind girl she is," Marco argued.
"Well, she's your job, now," the principle replied. "If you're able to help her, I'll make sure to grant you a scholarship to your college as well."
Marco took a deep sigh and responded, "Fine. It'll be far as worse as anything else, but if the money's enough to help my house and family, then I'll just have to take this."
Mad from the previous events, Star walked on the hallways of Echo Creek Academy on her star stick. During the walk, she kept her thoughts to herself, thinking about how in the name of corn did she end up in this situation. A kingdom of Mewni awaiting a new leader, yet her blindness and her attitude leaves it in doubt. Yet, she didn't care about it, for she wants to rule it her way. Needless to say, she's stuck on Earth for the time being, with her parents in high hopes of her being successful.
Before she could walk any further, however, she felt a hand touched her shoulder. It was unclear on who would touch her until the person said, "Star, was it?"
"And you must be that fucker, Marco," Star responded.
"This must be why the ad in the newspaper was made," he answered, standing in front of her.
"Look, no offense, Diaz, but if you are taking that job, I don't wanna be your friend."
"And I understand that. We're not gonna like each other the whole time we're doing this shit, but I really need this money. So can't we work something out?"
"The answer is no. Have a nice day."
"Star... I really need it. Just let me help you. I promise you won't regret it."
"Well, I doubt anyone else would help me at this point, so I guess we're stuck together."
"Thank you."
So Star and Marco wrapped their arms together, and walked though the hallways, in hopes for resolved problems in their lives.
