Babies Having Babies
Warren Peace had a rough start in life that only seemed to get rougher as each year passed.
Generally when a couple finds out they are expecting it is a joyous occasion for the expecting parents and their families.
However, when Warren Peace's parents, Baron Battle and Joyce Peace, found out they were expecting it was anything but joyous.
Both were fresh out of Sky High and had big plans for themselves, none of them which included a baby.
Their families were even less thrilled with the news. Neither of their parents thought the couple was right for each other. Baron and Joyce argued over everything and were know to get physical. Their parents agreed that they were a match made in Hell, but because their parents disagreed about them, they stayed together.
Baron Battle and Joyce Peace had been going out on and off since their sophomore year at Sky High. Nobody knew why they were together as both seemed to truly dislike each other. It was not uncommon to hear Baron call Joyce a "blood sucking bitch" or Joyce telling Baron to "go fuck yourself."
But they were together and now they were expecting at baby.
Abortion was bought up and was shot down almost immediately. The baby they were expecting could have powers, their powers. While they didn't want a baby, the idea of the baby turning out like them sounded "fun" and "awesome."
"It could be my mini me!" Baron claimed once, while Joyce rolled her eyes annoyed mumbling about having two "dumbasses."
Adoption was suggested by their parents. Both the Battles and the Peaces' were willing to take in the baby, but Joyce hated the idea.
"They just want to do it to hold it over my head!" Joyce told Baron, "I'd never hear the end of it!"
Against the pleads of their parents they decided to keep the baby and named him Warren Peace.
"Warren is a stupid name." Joyce claimed on the day the baby, Warren, was born.
"It's a family name." Baron had shot back already getting tired of listen to Joyce complain. "It would of sounded cooler if his last name was Battle."
Joyce snorted, "My baby, my last name. Don't like it, you can go fuck yourself."
For the first few hours of Warren's little life was filled with the sound of his parents arguing on who should go fuck themselves.
In the movie it made it seem like the Strongholds went to school/graduated at the same time as Baron Battle (and I'm assuming Warren's mother), but Warren seems like a couple of years older than Will. So I'm running with the idea that Warren was not plan and his parents were not ready for him (maturity wise), hence the name Babies Having Babies.
