A short little one shot that came to my mind last night!

Everyone's Right and yet Everyone's Wrong

Smugly Albus sat at his desk. He'd just dismissed Dolores and the woman had still insisted she knew his secret and would tell the world. She couldn't have been more foolish. The secret he held had been kept for centuries. Even Godric Gryffindor; the first ever Hogwarts Headmaster had a secret like this.

"You know you have threatened this secret more than any other Headmaster in your position," Dippit sighed.

"Yes I do Armando," Albus nodded.

"And you realize the danger you put it in?" Dewert asked pointing her wand at him.

"Yes Dyils but I have confidence no one can prove anything," Albus stated standing, "As far as anyone knows I am borderline gay and once I go to the Summer Ball this year they'll believe that instead of whatever Umbridge tells them."

"If you say so," Dippit shrugged smiling up at Dyils. She returned the smile with a wink as she left her portrait. He left his as Albus climbed the stairs into his quarters. He went straight through the living room to his bedroom.

He stopped at the very old chest at the foot of his bed and kicked it in a pattern. The trunk slowly slid back to reveal steps going down.

Albus head down the steps and the trunk slid into place as soon as he touched the last step. From there he walked down a dimly lit wall to an old cherry wood door. Over the rim of the door read: Evol straeh rouy dlohi.

Smiling he opened the door and entered a room. The brick walls of this room were painted a warm like chocolate color with pictures and book shelves all around it. Three doors were to the left. The living space was warm and welcoming with a rich green rug and cream colored furniture.

Sitting on the floor was his beautiful bride and their two young children. Ten month old Viviane was happily piling blocks with her five year old sister Jasmine.

Viviane was propped up in front of her mother. The baby's black curls held a tiny yellow bow and she was in a pretty yellow dress with a white sash. Her eyes were blue.

Jasmine's eyes were emerald like her mother's as were her black hair. Her hair was held back with a lilac headband and she was wearing a lilac dress.

Sitting in his chair was his nine year old son Benjamin. Benjamin was wearing dark jeans with a white shirt that had the sleeves rolled up and a loose red tie. He was sitting there with his round rimmed glasses on his nose reading from a Transfiguration book. Benjamin looked just like his father with auburn hair and blue eyes.

"I do hope you haven't been lifting her by yourself," Albus stated sitting on the floor behind Jasmine.

"No I didn't. I was a good little wife and didn't over exert myself," Minerva stated.

"I got her out of the crib," Benjamin stated.

"Thank you son," Albus smiled. Benjamin nodded and returned to his book.

"I think when you are fully healed we should have another," Albus stated pulling Jasmine into his lap. She quit playing with the blocks and snuggled into her father's arms.

"I'll get back to you on that," she laughed as Viviane knocked all the blocks down and shrieked happily.

"Vivi we're supposed to be good silly," Jasmine stated shaking her head.

"Well not always," Benjamin stated.

"True," Albus laughed.

You see everyone was right that Albus and Minerva were married. They were all wrong about when it happened though. They didn't marry till Voldemort disappeared in 1980. Before that both were single and not looking for love.

The secret of the ages at Hogwarts was that in the darkest of times love was always found at Hogwarts…and to those that had that love the quarters of Rowena and Godric appeared to them because Rowena and Godric had too found love in a dark time.
