Daisy Chains

I don't own Harry Potter. Nor do I know what I'm doing joining the SI madness. So yeah.

Mr and Mrs Dursley, of number four, Privet Drive, were proud to say that Daisy Marjorie Dursley was a perfectly normal child. In their opinion there was no finer girl anywhere.

When Daisy was four months old, she said her first word, "Mama." (Which was followed by, "put me down.") It was mangled and half slurred, but identifiable nonetheless, and Petunia gushed about how smart she was.

The blonde was taking her first unsteady steps by the time she was six months old, which Vernon bragged about it to his workmates for weeks, much to their displeasure.

And when Marjorie Dursley stopped in to see her beloved niece on her first birthday, she was shocked to find her reading Pride and Prejudice in her highchair. Petunia and Vernon had traded proud looks before explaining to Marge that she'd been reading since she'd first gotten her hands on the newspaper a month ago.

The Dursleys should have known this wasn't normal behaviour, but Mr and Mrs Dursley were blind to all things unnatural and simply thought that it was their fantastic parenting skills.

How very wrong they were.

Daisy Dursley was not a normal child. In fact, she was the furtherest thing from a normal child you could be.

Daisy was Dee Tainui, a woman who was rather perturbed at being reborn into the Harry Potter Universe, and as a female Dudley Dursley at that.
