"And that, kids, is the story of how I met your mother."

As the kids sighed in relief that their father's story was FINALLY over, Tracy entered the room.

"Ted, honey, are you finally finished telling your story?"

Ted nodded.

Tracy laughed. "Well, it seems like you've been telling our kids that story for years! Anyway, I invited the gang over for dinner tonight. Kids, can you help me set the table?"

Luke and Penny jumped up so fast, it was almost like the couch was on fire.

Ted found himself chuckling, "Teenagers..."

Later that night, when Robin, Barney, Marshall, Lily, and their kids had come over and everyone had sat down for dinner, Luke turned to Ted.

"But, Dad..." He began, "There's one thing you didn't tell us."

"Oh? What's that son?"

"The final slap."

At that, there was a clunk.

Barney had dropped his utensils and looked over at Marshall who was now grinning like a hungry lion looking at it's prey.

"Oh, come on..." Barney began.

At that, the two of them jumped up and Marshall chased Barney out of the room.

Eventually there was a loud cracking noise.

"THAT'S FIVE!"
