Ally: This is the first fanfic that I have actually uploaded to the internet, and it's also the first that I've actually worked with somebody on. Unfortunately my partner is a bit... Obsessed. Isn't that right Jassy?
Jassy: AAUGH! I'M INSULTED! -Lets out something that sounds like a cat hiss-
Ally: Err... -runs away- I hope you enjoy our story!
Jaken's Personal Diary
As the sun started to set, a small green youkai clothed in brown leaned up against a tall tree. In one hand he held a scroll, the parchment in rather good condition. Clutched tightly in his other hand was a bottle of ink and some sort of quill. The youkai seemed rather nervous, and jumped a couple feet as a group of crows flew out of a nearby bush. Other than the squawking as they passed, the forest was silent. Opening the inkbottle the creature started to write upon the parchment, stopping here and there to think.
Day 284
That little human girl is going to drive me crazy one of these days. I was starting to build this nights fire, and the brat stole my flint set. Just as I was about to grab it back, she started to run circles around me. "Chase me Jaken! Chase me!" I wanted desperately to whack her over the head with my staff. But I knew if I had done that, Sesshomaru-sama would have left me out here to be eaten by some youkai. The forest is filled with them, and most of them would be happy to get a free meal. Sometimes, I wish he had never saved Rin.
Jaken sighed. It was obvious that Sesshomaru-sama liked Rin a lot more than he let on. When wolves had attacked the girl's village, he had gone searching for her. The brown haired girl was already dead, but by calling on the Tenseiga for the first time, Lord Sesshomaru had brought her back to life. From that day on, Rin had followed Sesshomaru around everywhere. When Jaken was sure the ink wouldn't smudge, he carefully rolled up the small scroll and placed it inside his robe. Closing the ink, he stood up and headed back to the campsite. By the time he got there, Rin was fast asleep in Sesshomaru's arms. Turning away, Jaken found a spot beside the fire and quickly fell into a deep sleep.
