I look back at my 5 year old daughter Felicity who is counting every car we go by. I'm dropping her off at my sister Rosalie's house for the day so she can play with her cousins Sienna and Georgia. My wife of one year Bella is away at a conference in Seattle for the weekend so Rosalie offered to take them for today so I can go to work for the night. I feel bad because she is 8 months pregnant with a baby boy. I pull into the driveway and put the car in park. I get out of the car and go over and get my beautiful baby girl out of her car seat. She has a pout on her face and a bag with her pajamas and her little pink blanket which is named "Bankey" and her stuffed dog Rufus in it. I won't be able to pick her up until after midnight so I packed some stuff so she could sleep. "I don't like when you work the late shift." She says. "I thought you loved having half sleepovers at Auntie Rose's house." "I do when Mommy's home." I look at my perfect little girl and let out a sigh "I will be back before you know it." She looks at me with puppy dog eyes. "Come on lets go inside." We walk up to the front door and I ring the doorbell. My sister Rosalie answers with Sienna and Georgia on her tale. Felicity runs in and starts playing with the girls. Even though Georgia is 10 and Sienna is 8 they are both really good at hanging out with Felicity. I give my sister a hug. "Thanks Rose I appreciate it." "No problem Edward just remember this when little Thomas is born." I laugh "Ok I'll remember. Bye Felicity." She runs to me "Bye daddy" she says. I give her a kiss on the forehead and she's off again. I tell my sister bye and then I head out the door. Driving to work I think about Felicity. She isn't Bella's child and she knows that. She's Tanya's daughter but she died a month after she was born. Felicity said Bella was more like a mom to her though. She's a smart little girl. She's in pre-k at the elementary school near our home. She's starting kindergarten this fall. She's so excited. She's also going to be an older sister. She doesn't know yet. Bella and I found out 2 weeks ago. We plan on telling her after we go to the doctor's. I get to work at Fork's hospital and I can't wait until the day is over so I can go pick up my little Felicity.
