The meeting was opened. Arthur Petrelli, called by some 'The Ruinous One,' stood up.
"Hi, I'm Arthur Petrelli," he said stiffly. "And I'm hated."
"Hi, Arthur," everyone said.
Paul said, "Tell us, Arthur. Why are you hated?"
Arthur cleared his throat. "Apparently I'm the worst villain on earth."
Paul nodded. "Why do you think that is?"
Arthur looked sulky. "I did a few silly things, things anyone would have done. Killed Adam Monroe – who liked the guy anyway? And then I manipulated this serial killer – who everyone LOVES by the way – into believing I was his father and that his mother – my wife, who tried to kill me by the way – tried to kill him when he was young. I also stole one of my son's powers and now, supposedly, he's complete crap – and yet still loved! Why, I ask you?"
Paul looked sympathetic. "Is there anything else?"
"I may have stolen this time travellers' powers...but that really doesn't matter." Arthur stared at the crowd as if waiting for someone to say that it did. No one did.
Paul nodded. "Thank you, Arthur. Now, who's next?
