I am not new to FF, but I am new to actually posting a story!

On a night so peaceful that rarely happens as it is that even the Marians are taking advantage of it. A single ship is just swaying in the middle of the Grand line, not the biggest ship mind you but big enough to take you to your destination; and that was perfect for our young, strong, but dense captain that we all know and love, Luffy was in the captains quarters thinking about his crew and what they mean to him.
Luffy was young, yes, and he was determined to be the Pirate King and if his dream is to be the Pirate King he would have to be strong! But what is a pirate without his crew? Nothing. So our loveable captain has been searching for people to fill in the parts he knows he cannot live without.
Roronoa Zoro, first mate, and a swordsmen, his dream is to be the world's strongest swordsmen and Luffy believes he is close to fulfilling it.
Nami, second person to join, but first one to re-join the Straw Hat Pirates, a thief and a navigator, her dream is to complete a map of the world and Luffy believes she will, just a few more years and she'll be the first person ever to have a full complete map of the world.
Usopp, third to join, but second to re-join them, he is the liar on the crew and the sharp shooter, his dream is to become a warrior of the sea, Luffy believes he has already completed this but still needs to believe it himself.
Sanji, the fourth to join, he is the chief on the ship, his dream is to see All Blue, Luffy believes it's out there and is waiting till he becomes the Pirate King to sail to All Blue with the crew.
Tony Tony Chopper a cute little reindeer is the fifth to join, he is the doctor of the ship, and his dream is to cure any disease, Luffy doesn't really know if Chopper can do it but he will always be behind him in anything.
Nico Robin the sixth person to join, and the third to come back. She is the archaeologist of the crew; her dream is find Rio Poneglyph, Luffy knows that along the journey to becoming Pirate King, she will.
Frankey, the Seventh to join, Frankey is the shipwright, he is also a cyborg, his dream is to see his ship sail the Grande line and survive Luffy knows that it will.
Now Brook is the eighth to join, he is the musician on the ship, he is also a skeleton. His dream is sail around the world and to reunite with the big whale Laboon. Luffy already knows that will come true.
As Luffy ponders the thought of his crew he smirks lightly as he thinks before he drifts of to sleep is "if things keep going as well as it has been I can become Pirate King in no time and prove to Shanks my crew is better than his, than I can start to concentrate on my crews dreams because without them I am nothing."
